Great Indian Bustard

Alright, I've been lazy and now I'm back. Before you start thinking that I'm full of racist crap, take a moment and think. I was actually trying to find out more about a very rare species of bird from India. One of those possibly extinct types. At the same time I also tried to get in touch with my roots. I could have been an indian in my past life afterall. How or where did I come across this bird you may ask. Well, the answer is simple.

I was bowling at Marina South last Sunday with the usual gang of misfits. I use this term affectionately. While the frustrations were building up in some who found it difficult to bowl, some of us managed to catch a glimpse of this bird. I would have taken a photo but I fear that I might have witnessed the last 'flight' of this bird. Being more curious than most people, I had to find out more. The aforementioned Indian Bustard does not refer to anyone of the minority race but a rare bird now restricted to Rajasthan, Gujarat. A seemingly fit name for the bird which I saw. As for the bowling, it wasn't great.
