Life has to go on
A couple more fellas bit the dust this week. Unfortunately, my semi flexi but compulsory workout still took place albeit at lower intensity. It was really dumb to tell us unfit buggers to take it easy. We KNOW how to take it easy. We've been doing it all our lives! That's why we're doing this shit.
On a sadder note, my housekeeping specialist of 8 years has left the building for good. The choice was pretty much shoved down my throat after I came back from my weekend dive trip. A decision was made, I had 7 days to come to terms with it and now, its reality. The people I live with or claim to run this household obviously have gone off their rockers. I doubt I will ever understand why she had to go. Of all the people here, I felt I got on with her best. We had quite a good understanding despite the deafness. I can't say I was best pleased with the way she did some stuff but I was surely much more tolerant. I definitely did not try to give her smart ass advice. I wonder if that was the cause for her deafness.
For Sonia(Not her real name btw. Bet you guys who knew her didn't know), I feel glad for her. She returns home to her family with many more years ahead of her. I wish her all the best. I would have kept her here till 70 if it was left to me. She achieved great things which I admit I took for granted. Meals which varied in style and taste would be missed most followed by help with my zoo at home. Most importantly, she made history. If not for her, all the other Sonias out there wouldn't be known as Sonias.
Quote of the day : Doing nothing is very hard to do...you never know when you're finished.
