The Real Effect
Today I had to make my way to RT the less convenient way; public transport. The MoHA has often used the term 'Real Effect'. What is the 'Real Effect'? It's bullshit. Try searching for it on a search engine. In order to be sure, this is one of the many dictionary definitions for 'real'. I reckon this definition comes closest.
Philosophy.
a. existent or pertaining to the existent as opposed to the nonexistent.
b. actual as opposed to possible or potential.
c. independent of experience as opposed to phenomenal or apparent.
So what is the 'Real Effect' of the car situation I'm facing? While it is true that I don't lose anything by not driving to work, I am inconvenienced when I need to go for RT albeit only twice a week and temporarily. I've gained the use on weekends only to see that I have to make exceptions when The Inconveniencer has to go to work. There is no such word btw. If you did the simple maths I actually gained 1.5-2 days. So does that make you feel any better if you were me? 2 days out of 7? Almost had me there with that 'Real Effect' crap eh?
Quote of the day : FAT32. That's what file system my body uses.
